CUCC has some impressive club records. The most recent changes are Rachel Horn's impressive 10 and 25 in the 2001 BUSA 10 and Varsity Match respectively, both times winning the events for her. She now has a clean sweep of Women's records. Also worthy of note are Micheal Hutchinson's 10, 25 and 50 records, indeed Michael's average speed during his 50 mile record was faster than Tony Hornbuckle best ride over 15 miles. Michael is now a professional cyclist and won the 2000 BBAR (Best British All Rounder) competition. Tony Hornbuckle set that 15 record & his 30 mile record in 1996, while the following year the BUSA women's team set a new mark for the 50km 4-up TTT, followed by a 20+ minute beating of the 25 record. The men's varsity team set a new club and varsity record on the same day.

In the last BUSA event of the season (1998), the 100 mile TTT also went, despite the 3rd counter, Tony Hornbuckle, losing approximately 10 minutes through 2 punctures.
