Joining CUCC

Since its foundation CUCC has enjoyed a great deal of success which we aim to maintain on a year-by-year basis. The annual membership fee of 12 pounds (undergrads, postgrads, postdocs) or 18 pounds (University staff, external members) includes the following benefits:

  • membership to the RTTC, giving the insurance which is necessary for competing in time trial events
  • Trade prices on X-lite equipment
  • 15% discount on all Polaris equipment
  • 10% discount on items from bikesmart.com
  • Discounts at two top cycle shops in Cambridge
  • Discounts on SiS, Cardiosport and Polar products (when mail-ordered through the club)
  • Use of any of the club equipment
  • Eligibility to come on our weekend trips
  • an email list to send and receive information to/from a very large number of cyclists in the area
  • the ability to compete for CUCC.

  • If you wish to join Cambridge University Cycling Club download the following membership form, complete it and send it along with a passport photo to one of the committee. Alternatively just turn up to a ride. Whether you be roadie, tester or MTBer, pro cyclist or novice, new faces are always most welcome. If you want to meet us without wearing lovely lycra, then come the the Free Press after 21:00 on a Wednesday night!

Core to the operation of the club is our email list, which is hosted by the University's computer services. Only registered subscribers can post to the list, but anyone with an interest in cycling (not just CUCC members) is most welcome to join. To join, send an email to one of the list managers and sign yourself up!
