Road riding

CUCC has a very active road riding section. On the racing scene out 'A' team came 1st in the BUSA 25 in 2002 with our 'B' team coming 3rd - a great achievement. There are a number of weekly training rides ranging from one and a half hour medium-paced rides, to fast and furious chain-gang style riding. If you're not a racer, not to worry since there are weekely touring rides to either find your legs or to regain them after a break! For more information, see our club rides section.

The CUCC guide to group riding can be found here

We try and get away once a term to go and ride in more challenging areas such as the Yorkshire Dales or the North York Moors. Currently, events are as follows:

Touring weekend - November 29th and 30th

The cost forthe trip will be 50 pounds per head and this will include transport from Cambridge to Acomb, 2 nights and Acomb YH and an evening meal. Please remind yourselves of our suggested kit list (it is likely to be pretty cold!) along with our riding guidelines and safety policy before coming along. More details soon.
