CUCC weekend trips
CUCC runs weekend mountain biking trips roughly twice per term and a touring weekend once per term. The touring weekend is open to all riders since there is both on-road and off-road riding available.
Due to the University's new health and safety policy, everyone coming on these trips has to be a club member so that our insurance is valid. In order to keep our open-doors policy on our weekend trips, anyone who is not a current student, employee of the University or an honourary CUCC member can join the club for a weekend only at a cost of 1.50pounds. Current students and employees of the University, however, must be a full member at 12 pounds per year (student) or 18 pounds per year (employee).

Costs and transport
Costs for club trips are 50 pounds per head. This is largely dominated by transport costs; if we have to hire cars or vans it the real cost can be more, but this is paid for by trips which we make a profit on. We are very lucky in having Chris Jones and his landrover still in town (Chris was the initiator of the MTB section of the club a few years back) and are always eager to hear of members who have cars/vans/etc.
If you haven't ridden with CUCC before on our weekend MTB trips, please read the disclaimer, the riding guidelines and the kit list
